Hi pond man! You can get all these plants in Karachi- depends on the season etc. I did get cabomba and hornwort from the passport office shops. If you could pm me, I can add you to a fish/aquatic plant group on facebook (karachi based). I'm sure they can help you out!

Nice setup- plants which can help reduce algae and look good are water hyacinths and water lettuce. They can be found in a few nurseries. I have hyacinths if you'd like! This plant is a common find in good Karachi nurseries. Try the ones on Korangi road.

It does not look like ferrous sulphate to me- it shouldn't be gray!
