I looked for it in various nurseries but no luck. All they have is a soil manure mixture which is of no use to me. I am looking for something which is either made of food compost or poultry manure.

need help

Hello happy gardeners, I am looking for organic soil/dirt to use it in my planted tank as a substrate. It could be either made out of food compost or Manure but must be toxin free. Does anyone have ann idea where should i look for it. I contacted one of the local brand of organic fruits & vegetables...

I am not sure if Its safe to use manure for the planted tank as it would be difficult to find out how toxic that manure could be for fishes.

I agree wid u guys that it could be another marketing gimmic but why not give it a try May be it works. By the weekend I should be done with my cleaning cycle of soil and clay which I would use as a bottom layer of my substrate. Once ready I'll mix some of this product in a small portion of substrat...

If you really want to stick to the cfl's than fix them with a reflector or component you usually see fitted on false ceilings in offices. This way light will always be projecting downwards on the surface and you will be making the most out if it by preventing loss of light. LEDs are also a very good...
