The amendments we use in soil r mainly dependent on the nutrient richness of the soil, and the drainage factor with respect to the particular plants' need for both. I think rating is putting measurable parameters into perspective. It will help us appreciate plants like euphoria for their appropriateness in our climate n not love plants just for their exotic origins...u have to rate a plant to understand this subtle beauty in brig Arif's system Sent from TBA iPh...

This is potentially a very good thread for anyone new to gardening. They can select plants they like based on their preferences. I think everyone should put in plants they like and rate them. Not just the best one in their garden
