Growing cacti from seed is a daunting task. It is better to buy cheap grafted small sized cacti as they grow fast due to the speedy growth habit of stock they are grafted on and when they are of considerable size de-graft them and root them.

These are fungal diseases, the stock of the yellow gymnocalycium cactus is rotting away so you will have to re-graft the upper part on a fresh stock while the brown spots is a type of fungal infection. You are most probably watering too much and the medium is not free draining in these plastic pots....

This is called an Echeveria. You can propagate it with leaves and pups that emerge at the side of the plant stem. Use a free draining medium for this plant otherwise it will rot.
