I think the most suitable time is Dec. I tried some cutting but they did not rooted. Its a budded on some wild root stock. I dont know cutting would work or not in our climate.

I have not yet used but seen it(Lahore compost) at nursery at Pattoki. They are/were using it, may be because of economy but i am not sure, Apprently compost texture was very fine and uniform.
