Nocturnal Beetle Damage
Various nocturnal beetles also exhibit similar damage on leaves, but the difference is that holes/damage will be symmetric. Meaningby round/similar patterns in leaves here and there. Generally the number of beetles in the gardens is not very large, unless its a mass infestation. Therefore you will see symmetric shape in leaves here and there. This pest is very hard to control(mostly damage is more of cosmetic damage because they don't eat entire leaves). They appear in night and then hide. Prevention is by spraying pesticide thoroughly close to dusk.
This is the case of mass infestation but observe that the damage is still symmetric.
