Post by furqananwar » April 20th, 2018, 11:33 am

Dear All
couple of years ago my garden have te best citrus plants in our area. But then this gum disease happens that destroy 80 % of my citrus plants . Kino and early fruitor trees are half dead (from root) and Chinese lemon plants and narungi trees all dead (slowly slowly). i have changed some plants but i stil spotted gum on few plants (including new one). One nursery owner told me to reduce water but didn't tell me about any other solution. I googled this problem and found different name including Gummosis, Phytophthora.
I also apply a fungicide spray, copper sulfate+lime coating . I am trying to found exact a solution of this issue Kindly help.

I think you are carrying out the right treatment. However, basically the Bordeaux paste application is a preventive measure. It may now be difficult to save the affected trees. But must keep trying. Do update us, once you are over with it .
