Umar Sb, most of us-at least me wouldn't know which plants to spray with water & which not. Is it possible that you could give a list, off hand may be.

Just to add a little about Fungus prob, now its becoming very common on fruit trees like Guava , Olives, and Injeer in my house. The most effective way to get rid of it to spary any good avable pestiside from Nursury or seed store and spray them 1-hour bef sunset and repeat the process after a week. To be pro active, same process during sprouting season will help a lot to avoid this problem.

Fungus is also pest :-) in specific case. In general terms it won't be wrong to say pesticide, Yes specifically Fungicide would be more appropriate :-)

Tahir bhai...pesticide is a generic term which includes fungicides, herbicides, insecticides etc. Blame the chemists for causing confusion :-(

My request remains unheeded.I may have addressed Umar- who could be busy, but any body could have responded, as is normally done in this Forum.
So far, only Marigolds & Coleus have been mentioned in this regard, in recent past. Any more any one remembers or any thumb rule ???

In my opinion annuals should not be sprayed with water. Especially when they are flowering. Marigolds maybe if the weather is too dry to ward off spider mites. In winters maybe as chances of fungus are less. But general thumb rule is to avoid spraying water regularly over plants.
