Griffina liboniana

This is one of my Griffina liboniana bulb to flower. The Griffinia is a smaller version of the Worsleya and both these plants are very rare from South America. This bulb is not much bigger than a pea. A bulb produces 6 to 8 flowers and flowers 3 or 4 times per year which is a huge bonus.

What are these white granules spread in the soil. Is it some kind of fertilizer?

Mustansir,
The white granules are Perlite to obtain better drainage but is not a fertilizer. It is very light and float to the top over time I mix it into Coco Peat which is a very good growing medium for small plants and bulbs. As I wrote in the topic that the bulb is about the size of a pea. Coco Peat holds water well but yet it aerates well too.
