I started again in December 2017, the setup consisted of two plastic crates having volume of 27 liters, the lid is made of styrofoam (polystyrene), the seeds were germinated in 1.5 inch plastic cups in peat... the cups have 4-5 holes in the base.. here are the pics with updates:
