Is it normal in this season in Karachi if colour of Ixora flowers are faded and not bright. Is their growth slow in this season.

Pics of my grown up red Ixora. Definitely its color is not as vibrant & vivid as it is in summers. My smaller orange Ixora's color is even duller . I have attempted to propagate Ixora from stem cutting many times but so far haven't been successful. After reading Izhar's Air layering topic,I also attempted air layering Ixora yesterday & now keeping my fingers crossed.
