Please clarify the confusion about compost and potting mix.can we take pattoon ki khad as compost.

Plz clarify the difference btw aged "Patton ki khaad" (rested in pit for 1-2 yrs) and the commercially manufactured "plant feet" available in 5kg,20kg and 40 kg bags
