Re: what they use
It is a potting compost that is commercially produced and it come in four distinctive types. It is called John Innes and the formulae contains loam, peat, sand or grit, and fertiliser in varying ratios for specific purposes.
John Innes Seed compost: for sowing new seeds
John Innes No 1 compost: sowing of large seeds and for pricking out seedlings.
John Innes No 2 compost: Potting up and potting on to larger pots
John Innes No 3 compost: Final potting of larger plants
John Innes is not the manufacturer but the name by which the formula is known, it can be replicated at home.

Yummy, delicious, had no idea plants also have taste buds.imranarshad263 wrote:sir g yummy for plants not for us .
What is yummy may not be healthy and what is healthy may not be yummy
I feel it is not that important what they use as a medium then what and how they feed them.
