Last week we made a hanging basket... though nothing special about a hanging basket since there are many seen generally.. but this one is special since how we made it..

the basket - it is a chocolates basket that we give on festivals, which we got along with the chocolates. a gift from my wife bought particularly for me considering my passion for gardening.
the thread - free of cost.. was found hanging on our neighborhood neem tree from a kati patang ... the length was not cut since it was exactly the size we wanted..
waterproofing - polybag from a sweet shop
petunias and verbena - purchased.

i am sorry but plants dont appear very happy. soil seems soggy. petunias are awfully struggling. i suggest replanting with healthy plants and improved watering scheme and drainage.

use cloth instead of plastic

Will change the water proofing.. But the pic is just after hanging and watering it so that could be the reason for the soggy look.. The medium consists of bhal, compost and some coir.. Please advise how can it be improved since this is the best I knew..

How old this setup is?? if it is freshly planted then just wait and keep moist...
