some of the musa names haven't came underneath the attachments, but here is what they are

3 and 4 pictures musa dwarf Jamaican red

7 picture musa dwarf jamican red on the left side and musa red kru on the right side

Are they just ornamental?, Is the fruit edible?

They are all edible varieties, in the UK they realistically only can be grown in a greenhouse.Musa Cavendish is the banana most people can relate to and eat, as its the most commercially used banana in the world, but there is a whole world of edible varieties out there

Musa Monkey finger is a tart sweet flavored banana, its called monkey finger because, when the fruit is immature and not filled it looks like monkey fingers.

Musa Dwarf Jamaican red, is a red skinned banana when ripe not yellow, flavor is sweet like custard.

Musa Red Kru is the strawberry flavored banana, a beautiful banana that has a bio green and red p-stem.

Musa Ae Ae is a rare banana that can not be tissue cultured, one of the reasons why it will always have a high price,needs acid soil ph 6.0 or less to show its best. fruit when immature has the same stripes as the leaves, the fruit can be eaten out of hand or cooked.

Musa pisang jari buaya is a sweet tasting banana.

Usda 9b is the minimum temperature for these varieties, i will be taken these when i get a chance to visit family in Dadyal Azad Kashmir, not
sure what zone Dadyal Asad Kashmir is though

The most cold hardy banana in the the world is musa basjoo, but is not a edible variety as it has seeds in the fruit, it can take temperature into the minus figures, the leaves will burn, but if the p-stem is protected it will regrow from there when spring arrives, it grows in cool climates while other musa wont, which is ideal for the UK for landscaping.

The hardiest Edible variety are Musa Rajapuri and Musa Dwarf Orinoco these are cold hardy, i have not tasted the fruit on these but they supposedly have a nice flavor.

Banana height is measured by the p-stem not by the leaves to get fruit in the UK, one would need a greenhouse 20ft in height, which just isn't viable.
