The first plant is growing profusely along the GT Road. Its leaves are like Pine Tree needles.
Have tried Google Image unsuccessfully.

For plant IDs, leaf/ flower close up is necessary. Do these pine like needles have very small leaves? If yes, it is Parkinsonia aculeata. It bears yellow beautiful flowers and it is a common tree in cities. It could also be Tamarix aphylla depending on the leaf morphology. The second one is Kalanchoe species.

I think you are right. My Carissa macrocarpa had thorns...may be this is a baby plant. Any idea about the top one?

The top one is probably Tamarix aphylla . I googled it and this seems right. Is this invasive species ? The second is indeed Carissa marcocarpa. It has thorns and Hamad is right due to cold leaves are red.
