Ma'am, there has been no update from you since May 2015-have you found its variety & has it started bearing fruit ?
To add for information: Desi lemon is slow growing & late fruit bearing variety, rarely seen these days. I have read that growing it is banned by (Punjab) Govt , as it is more prone to disease, which can spread it to other citrus trees.Chinese Lemon had replaced it but the problem is that it
( Chinese) is available only in winters & not in summers. Lately,NARC has introduced a Mexican Variety, which they claim is summer fruiting.I have a 3 years old plant now in blossoms/forming fruit; hopefully should be ready for harvesting in Jul.
