Is it a weed or a ornamental flower?

I checked Flowers of India webpage and it your plant turns out to be Silene pendula or perhaps Silene dioica. It is not classified as a weed there.
It is quite beautiful anyway. If you pull out the root, is it very fragrant root?

The actual flowers are wey small but over all effect is not bad.
Will check the roots.

Some may like it but I do not.
An old MALI used to work for me is very fond of old and forgotten flowers insisted that I try it and so I did.
He visits me almost every week for a good chat.

Okay, that is how is looks from far away. Your original picture was really good but now it seems like an average flower. What about the fragrance of flowers?
