I have the same plant in my kitchen garden...I was also told that it is green cardamon..Its grains have exactly same taste and smell but it doesnot look like cardamom in appearance...i searched on net and found that it would take 3years for cardamom plant to be mature...I waited for 5 years but found no difference in its appearance.Should I remove this plant from my garden?
