It absolutely skipped my mind to read this forum. I actually did try to locate the red worms and succeeded. My family friend brought back live worms from one of his trips to Europe. The worms unfortunately did not live for very long. I think the compost here may not be conducive to their growth or the weather didn't suit them because the compost did turn out good but the worms died and fossilized.

Activities like these make me question my own interest in gardening. There r people toiling on non-essential but beneficial diet for their plants.
Kudos! Yet, plants should be the best judge of the results...

why you expect earthworms from cold Europe to remain alive in our hot region?? Red wrigglers are not at all necessary, just use any native earthworm...

From where I can get the earthworms? As normally they are not on surface?
