Hi,
I am a cacti and succulents collector. I have been granting different species of cactus since my college days. I have read alot that they use this hormone powder in grafting cacti and other plants abroad which helps alot in fast healing and growth of the plants being grafted. I came to know that they call it Gibberlic Acid or A3. Can anyone in the forum here help me find it in lahore as I intend to graft cacti again in sept October.

I have seen it available locally in the seed and fertiliser stores in Jhelum last year. If its available here it will be available in Lahore, you just need to find the right place.

As a plant auxin it does all kinds of weird and wonderful things to plants but only with the correct applications. Too much and it can have the opposite effect and hinder plant growth. An alternative is Indole-3-butyric acid (1H-Indole-3-butanoic acid, IBA) or Salicylic acid (simple aspirin tablets dissolved in water).

Pride seeds has it. Almost all gardening stores carry it these days,atleast in karachi
