Fertilizer Application Method

Hey members !!!
AOA!!!
i just bought some kinda fertilizer. The guy said it was NPK. Now i bought it, but how to use it for container plants?
i thought it would be water soluble but its not. Its blueish green Granules? how to you use it? Do you mix it in the soil and hoe?
what quantity do you use? NEED HELP !!! :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

One table spoon in 5 litres of water. Just spray it.
This is the quantity i was told by awan seed store.

Or put 1 teaspoon of this fertilizer 2 inches away from the plant stem in all directions (circular) and apply water immediately.

But i would suggest avoid applying an fertilizer at this stage which may stress your plants as the weather is becoming hotter and hotter. The only exception would be amaryllis which should be fertilized after flowering.

Forgot to add in my text that also hoe it gently after sprinkling and then water.

Also, water you soil thoroughly before and after adding the fertility.

go back to the seller and get details of the NPK ratio.micronutrients, presence of chelated elements, water solubilty and recommended dosage,manufacturer etc Don't buy blindly otherwise the seller will take you for a ride

No need to water before putting the fertlizer granules. It is sufficient that watering should be done after putting the granules.

hnasir, What is the rationale for watering before putting the granules?

Soil shouldn't be watered before application as it will make the soil muddy and will solve no purpose IMHO :)
