My goodness Atra-batra is hilarious!

Haar singhaar is known by that name (at least in Karachi & Islamabad). Not sure if it is known by any other local variation in other parts of the country. Please see Farhan's post and I answered about Haar singhaar in another recent post in this very thread.

i have a grafted white Michelia Champaca which disappointingly was mild scented. Perhaps the scent was mild due to one or two bloom and may increase with greater number of blooms. A nursery in Lahore has imported a grafted yellow Michelia Champaca which hopefully ought to give flowers within the next two weeks. To be on a safer side rather than end up buying a mild scented plant shall wait for the blooms to appear first.
