Per my knowledge only white( which turns yellow) colored is available and it is fragrant too. I have seen a huge specimen in pattoki in ground with hundreds of flowers but it is also not growing very good for me in lahore. Other colors i have not seen.

I am trying to germinate the seeds of lonicera periclymenum but it requires stratification lets hope i am successful.

Winter hardy is good because it will tolerate frost. The variety which is available in patoki and in lahore is lonicera japonica

Because it is native to UK, it needs cold treatment. I kept it in fridge for 2 months but no germination yet. I am afraid it is a failure from my side. The seeds did not rot, they are hard, which is good but no germination yet. I will not try its seeds again. I can only hope the ones i have planted germinate.

Lonicera japonica is a very beautiful honeysuckle with decorativ red fruits. I never had success in seeds, but sometimes with cuttings.
