If snap dragons are large, sweet pea must be super duper jumbo large :-). Just kidding
Snap dragons should be sown on surface with very light sprinkling. By any standards one inch covering is too much by any ornamental seeds standards that i have come across.

One way for successful germination of small seed is this that mix these seeds with some bhal sand and fill the pot with the 50:50 sand and manure and then add thin layer of manure for providing energy to sprout seeds then sprinkle the mixture of sand and seeds over it. let the water be absorbed by the pot through its drainage hole by putting it in any trough filled with water and then finally cover it with plastic sheet. Uncover the sheet when the seeds have successfully sprouted.

If the seeds are larger like that of snapdragon
i think it is typo mistake warna tahir bhai :o :shock: :?

No its not, i have grown plants from seeds smaller and more fragile than snapdragons :D Night phlox seeds for example
This season i will also try Lobelia cardinalis and its seeds are smaller than snapdragon seeds :)

Tahir Lobelia is so beautiful but i think it will not flower in our climate.Any how experiments are good if you got it into flowering do inform me. Its one of the most beautiful flowers.

Dwarf lobelia was available in Islo in previous to previous spring. It did flower with me. Blue in color.
