Re: Soursop seeds
It is a very expensive fruit in Karachi (about Rs. 1500 per fruit). I was wondering whether it has been introduced in Pakistan or not but it turns out that it has been successfully introduced in Sindh...but details are missing. May be, you can explore some large nurseries in Karachi. There is no local name or Urdu name so take a coloured print out of the fruit and the leaves and show it to the nurserymen. The medicinal value is debated - please don't trust whatever appears on the web.

The Soursop is a native of tropical America and W. Indies. In Pakistan, it is introduced in Sind (Stewart, l.c.). It has the largest fruit of all the Annona species, sometimes weighing upto 4.5 Kg. The pulp is pleasantly sour and aromatic, used for making sherbets etc. Seeds possess insecticidal properties.
