confusion with sowing seeds

Salamz. I need guidance with sowing flowering seeds of spring 2015. Is it too late to sow seeds of petunia, dahlia,pansy , and some other varieties of flowers in lahore? Can we do sowing now as temp is getting low here day by day and I guess couple of rain spells are also on the way. Plz guide

Temp. is not a problem, the problem is your plants will be immature at the time of spring if you sow seeds now, this is the right time to sow bulbs.

i also need some help about germination.......................every year i put peanut potato seeds and they go upto only 3 inch and die and how can i get rid of unwanted grass? around the plants? another question is ? if grown up plant of potato or peanut die or broken by soccer players ? does the fruit still remain under the ground? how much time does potato take and how many in one plant? asif
