As a new member of this forum, was really impressed at the bird collections of various members. Would really appreciate if someone could advise me on what birds would be suitable for an outdoor aviary in lahore ? Birds that will survive in the harsh summer and winter with all it's extremes. Your hands on experience will be very beneficial for a new comer.
JazakAllah, Shahid.

Thanks for your reply, Mr. Umer
I am interested in parrots and did try to keep rosellas and turquoise last year. However it was a big failure and the aviary lies empty now. Perhaps it was my inexperience or a wrong choice of birds. After seeing these birds on the forum, I decided to get advise. The aviary is 8 ft long X 5 ft. Wide X 7 ft.high with few plants growing inside. Would really appreciate your guidance in starting all over again ?
JazakAllah, Shahid

for out doors, grey parrot , IRN all mutation is best
you have to make Aviary a half covered and half open with net
so thy can enjoy both and get max from environment
remember to provide quality diet not just seed mix

thanks
