Achillea millefolium

Last weekend i bought this plant.. it is available in most nurseries here but only in this color and is propagated vegetatively through suckers, anyone growing it?

i am growing achillea summer berries from T & M.......however presently there are at very initial stage

If i am correct this the plant very common in hilly areas wild. I did not see it much in murree but it was common in Shogran and Kaghan valley. I had always thought they are good for hilly areas.

Germination was okay but seedlings suffered in the initial stage.....out of some 80 seeds 20 something remaining

Farhan, any progress on your seed grown achilleas?? mine has almost double its size, i had planted it in ground and it proved drought and heat tolerant..

These are the 7 Achillea summer berries Plants grown from seed, sown in Oct End, Germination was ordinary.Seeds were from T & M, rather they sent two packets writing that there are complains about germination so we are sending two packets. Those tried in summers failed may be due to transplanting, don't remember exactly

These are about 8 inches in height but getting thicker laterally. . Seeing your plant picture it appears that they should be flowering sooner...what do you say?????

Yarrow can be grown successfully as a perennial here in Lahore.
