Contrast with whites looks great.. a bed should carry only one color and flower form...

I see.Izhar i want to plant ULTRA series in solid colors in blocks,STARS in blocks & Hulahoop in blocks.all blocks will be separate.
Izhar one thing more i was planning to plant pansies in pots but i dropped the idea because i have to fill my flower beds.i have lot of space.another reason is that i want to grow pansies in separate colors.so it,l be difficult for me to arrange so many pots.the third annual i wish is my ever favorite Snapdragon Sonnet in 6 separate colors.
i could,t understand do u mean white petunia bed between every other color as dividing line.

Umar sb planting a flower bed in blocks and straight lines is boring and looks more like soilders standing in straight lines in different uniforms for a parade
Give your beds a new circular or semi-circular look or use other geometric shapes like a Hexagon or Rectangles ang use odd colours that dont usually mix... i guarantee that people will have a second look at ur beds in amazement and a new type of setting

Just go with the colours which u love the most and experiment with new combos which you have never seen before anywhere or have seen somewhere and loved it the most
if you want my opinion i wud go with solid colours in petunia:
white + salmon or light pink
deep blue + deep burgundy + white
yellow + light orange or salmon
The star, hullahoop and daddy vein mixes go well all the series planted seperately in boxes or containers to get the maximum effect

nice ideas & feed back.i,l use solid colors.i have planted every color in past except the yellow prism sun shine.so this season i should enjoy it.Thanks Tahir & Izhar for such a nice feed back.first i was going to plant 20 colors but now i will narrow down the color selection.min 20 ft long bed of each color will be enough.my bed is 110 ft long & 3 ft wide.i,l plant three rows.
