Four years ago it was in. I saw the pictures in the book and bought four plants at a high price.
I Planted one at my home in semi shade, one in a tub and other two in open at my Hotel.
Every year most of it dies during winter and re-sprouts in spring,
Except for the one in my house, all others have died. Even the one at my home looses many of its branches but does bloom in summer. It readily air layers and even cuttings take easily.
The plant is out for me. I have two layered ones in pots if you want one.

I bought one last summer and it has lost all leaves this past month. I think it's tender to even mild frost.
