White butterfly ginger lily (http://www.lahoregardening.com/2010/11/ ... night.html second pic) is growing in race course park lahore but the location is not visible, little hidden. I asked the mali to dig me some tubers secretly and he advised me to do so in monsoon. I forgot after that. I am also looking for their roots but unable to do so. They grow good in lahore specially in monsoon. Require large root space though.

Dombeya (http://www.lahoregardening.com/2011/01/ ... magic.html) is common in lahore at many nurseries. There is one white variety and one pink as far as i have seen. One of them has good fragrance though not strong and other has almost no fragrance. One of the few winter flowering shrubs for lahore.

Never seen others in lahore. Will have to grow from seed i think.

I've seen a white domeya at a friend place its almost 8-10 feet high it flowers soo profusely that thats the stems start to bend. I was amazed to see the small tree filled with blooms but i didnot notice any frangrance.

The pink Dombeya is the fragrant one. The Solanum macranthum is the one I saw growing n Bagh e Jinnah. I failed to germinate stemmadenia seeds twice. I think the seed quality was poor. Maybe sunshineseeds has some seeds and their quality is better.
