Seeds are not sprouting

Post by star2k279 »

Assalam ualaikum members,
I am a novice in kitchen gardening, so need your help a lot. Actually, i sowed chinese cabbage, yellow cherry tomatoes, red round tomatoes, green onions and sweet pepper 10 days back in a mixture of balu mitti and organic compost. But on 10th day just red tomatoes sprouted and none of others :(.

Please point out possible mistakes. I have private well(bouring) as primary water source.

I got sweet pepper(hybrid F1) and yellow cherry tomatoes from hyperstar mall, brand was Pride Seeds. Other seeds and compost(khaksehat was the name os the brand) bought from the shop in front of askari park near old sabzi mandi.

The seeds were old, you can buy fresh seeds from Old sabzi mandi shops, Abdul seed store in DHA and Empress market.

Khak sehat is good compost but very expensive, i use it for seed germination purpose only.

what is your method of germinating seeds, too much water or too less can kill them before germination.

Assalam u alaikum,

This time I sowed Spinach, Cabbage, egg plant, carrots, sweet pepper and salad in seed trays with potting soil made up of sand, compost and coconut coir.

I hope it will germinate this time InshaAllah. I just wanted to ask that how many days these vegges need to germinate?
