How to Type in Urdu

Download Urdu Key Board by clicking link below.
http://www.crulp.org/Downloads/localiza ... b_v1.1.zip
Unzip the downloaded file and double click the setup.exe to install a keyboard layout.
Download Alvi Nastaleeq Font from the following link.
http://www.ffonts.net/Alvi-Nastaleeq.font.zip
After downloading install the font.
After installing keyboard enable the Urdu key board by following method:

Keyboard Layouts for Windows XP
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Double click “Regional and Language options” icon
3. Press “Language” tab



4. Press “Detail” button
5. Press “Add” button



6. Select “Input Language: "Urdu", and Keyboard layout/IME : ”CRULP Urdu Phonetic v1.1" from the list

Keyboard Layouts for Windows Vista/Seven
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Double click “Regional and Language options” icon
3. Press “Keyboard and Languages” tab



4. Press “Change keyboards…” button
5. Press “Add” button
6. Select “Input Language: "Urdu", and Keyboard: ”CRULP Urdu Phonetic v1.1" from the list

After enabling key board an icon “EN” will appear in your task bar, by clicking on that icon another window appears from which you can select Urdu as your typing language. This keyboard works in nearly all windows typing software like MS Office. You can also type in Urdu on web in any email client or forum.
Click on New Topic or Post Reply
When post reply windows open click on “EN” icon & select Urdu.






There are some icons on top of your Post window




Click on Right, "downward arrow of font" & select “Alvi Nastaleeq”. Finally change font size from Normal to Large, now your post window shows these tags.

[right] is start & [/right] is end tag shifts text  to the right side of window anything typed b/w those two tags will shift towards right side of the window.

[font=Alvi Nastaleeq][/font], anything b/w these two tags have typed in Alvi Nastaleeq font.
 tags will change the size of font because default size is small for viewing.

Now start typing b/w these tags. The Key board is phonetic i.e. A for ا, B for ب P for پ and so on. Here is an example of some typing, after posting the final result is showed below.

Some boring & lengthy instructions but they will be very helpful for those who have little knowledge of computer.
Urdu typing will also helpful for those who have troubles in writing English. It will work in writing of local names of plants & terminologies in Urdu.
