Sir how much peat cost you? it is Rs.7000 for 300 liter here in Karachi
I purchased one big bag of each, three years ago. I use it for expensive seeds only,it will last me for another three years, for my own local seeds I use a mix of fine river sand, leaf mold as base and on top a layer of composted leaves.
Sir,kindly post some pictures whenever you are sowing seeds next time just like Izhar did.

Thank you very much Izhar Sb. This is very informative and helpful.

Can we use the same formula for preparing soil mix for other medium to large size potting plants or this is only best for seedlings?

Not at all... sawdust will consume all the available nitrogen inorder to decompose first... if you could compost the sawdust for 6 months then it will become a good resource...

Izhar Sahab would you please tell me the difference between coco coir and coco peat as i mistakenly bought coco peat from old sabzi mandi. Is it ok to use coco peat instead of coco coir?
