Growing Snowpeas and Rocket Leaves from Seeds

Post by sarahsuhail »

Hi All!

I just want to know whether I should follow the months stated on the seed packet for planting the seeds or can I plant them at any time?

I've read and also been told by a 'mali' that it's okay to plant seeds at home during any month but that the amount of vegetable produced maybe affected.

Thanks!

Sarah

Basically after the 'second round of summer' passes right? And they'll be allright in the Karachi winter? Also, is it okay to grow them in large pots rather than the ground?

Thanks so much!

Yes after the second round of summer has passed and nights starts to cool. As to the argument about pots or the ground, every one has his own choices but if you want a crop then at least give it a chance in the ground. One per pot if you have space limitations, at least a 14 inch pot . If you have planted sweet peas, then you have the knowledge to deal with all peas.
Regards.
