Re: Newbie here
Hello after a long time. I got some green growing in my garden finally. Please see the pics and comment. Thanks
Is this plant dead? I am not getting and red chillies, or is it ok to pluck them?
Some Bhindi. I used spare wood from crates to support it.
Tomato crop is a little thin. Is it ok?
This looks good.
This also looks good. Masha Allah
Methi crop.
Dhania.
Palak.
Shaljam.
This is a good start. Isn't it? Any suggestions please?
Thanks

Its great man!!!
Now keep on observing these plants there growth rate, leave pattern, foliage color and stuff.
Most importantly if disease hits your plant, do think of what you did wrong or why did this happen in first place.
Water issue is very critical, you dont want your plant leaves to remain moist in night so avoid watering in late afternoon time, otherwise fungi will hit you hard!!1

Re: Newbie here
Chillies looks very effected maybe there are spider mites. If their is a web its sure that these are mites. So, if there are mites spray 3/4 tea spoon dish washing liquid probably lemon max(I use lemon max soap) with 1/4 tea spoon hair oil for sticking purpose mixed in 1 litre of water. Spray regularly in evening for 5 to 6 days or how much is severe the attack then spray on fortnightly bases. I use it on plants specially roses and it works for me.

Cauliflower is attacked by Mealy bugs and Radish is (maybe, picture not clear) attacked by White flies spray any general purpose pesticide. Well, this attack is severe.

Re: Newbie here
Please ... never ever spray household sprays on plants. Go to a agriculture products store (or a nursery) and show them the leaves and ask for advice. I would strongly discourage suggesting names of pesticides on the internet since their usage requires extreme care and caution in the hands of beginners and experts alike.new_gardener wrote:Will the mosquito killing Mortein work? Re: Newbie here
I once tried Copex on plants at home and after day or two the plants were showing burnt marks I was thankful that burning of leaves was not severe but I strongly prefer that use sprays that are meant for plants.new_gardener wrote:Will the mosquito killing Mortein work?
