During summers, only keep them moist and save from mid day sun... that is it..
Just now with a torch checked the roses to find any insects or so.
So one of them(newly bought white one) had a kind of insect which was really slim and around half a milimeter tall. It was on the petal of rose that still hasn't opened up.
While the other rose bush had sticky substance on rose bud and I can see that petal has changed color to some what grey.
What do I do?
One more question, should I avoid overhead watering? Thinking to do it every 2 days so insects could remain away from it.
and the roses get sunlight from 11AM-5PM every day.

Overhead watering is no issue as long as they get good direct sunlight... wash the insect and the slimy substance...

I don't know much but i've read somewhere that it's better to wash them with dish liquid soap.
I've lemon max liquid, should I use it or just water?

I've just noticed, 2-3 bushes are producing twisted small leaves. Is it normal?
I've searched the net and got to know that it's caused by thrips or mildew. But I don't think it's mildew as I don't see any whitish powder or anything on buds or underside of foliage!
