Dear izhar bhai,

I have recently developed interest in planting flowers especially roses. I live in Quetta, and its climate is quite cold compared to Lahore and Karachi. People have suggested me to plant rose in late Feb. I had previously failed experiences of growing rose. I need your help in the following:

1. Should I buy rose with its roots and re plant in my garden or plant rose's bracnhes?
2. Which kind of rose does suit Quetta, I want to grow red and dark red roses.

Looking forward to your help.

You should buy 1 year old rose plants from nurseries and only plant when the temperature are above 15 Centigrade.. almost all roses are well suited for Quetta..

Our whole garden is being attacked by Aphids. Specially the seasonal flowers, I haven't seen them on any of the roses yet many rose pots are placed near the infected plants!
What exactly should be done? Insecticide spray or just jet stream of water?

Yes those were Aphids(tela) as told by maali.
Got them sprayed with insecticide and have decorated them outside the house!
