I successfully kept roses for a number of years and plants survived due to regular feeding and control of pests. Only today, I saw well established plants in bloom at one of the nurseries situated on the Karachi Boat Basin "nala"

:D That's the wonderful part of gardening in Karachi. I don't think you will find roses in bloom anywhere else in Pakistan.

Rightly said. Only in winters in Karachi one can enjoy beauty and charm of roses.
But for rose lovers just like me it's enough.

Maybe its not the season for bud development or have you checked if it is a 'sucker' stemming from the base !
