OKLAHOMA ROSE

This is the condition of the rose in summer as its flower quality become decreased and patel count, in my opinion also become decrease and quality of blooms is affected. although its color is not affected by the summer heat. Low fragrance

The condition of rose in winter is more attractive there are most petal count and is of the bigger size and bloom quality is superb. It also have high fragrance in winter.

GOLD MEDAL
The condition of this in summer is awful very few petal count the color of it is fades and bloom size is also affected very low fragrance as compared to the fragrance in winter.

The condition of this rose in winter is superb very sharp fragrance petal count is raised and color of it is bright yellow with orange lining on the corner.

Thanks for sharing your experience Mustansir sb. This is very important. Generally speaking, quality of bloom in all roses is effected during extreme weather. As I can see, your roses have been affected but not so much. This effect is much more pronounced in Punjab and Sind.

All roses are effected in extreme weather but the intensity is different. Some hardly survive and there are others which also go down in performance but not drastically. Through discussions and sharing experience, we should identify the cultivars which have better capacity to survive in hotter climates. There are roses that do pretty well in hot weather provided we take care of their location and soil is appropriate.
