Plz share how to grow from seeds?

No brother, these are the tags from the grown up 2-3 year old potted plants purchased from David Austin and Peter Beals in UK.

Growing roses from seeds is not really a very practical idea unless you want to breed new varieties for which there is no other way but to grow from seeds. However, the process would take 5-7 years to produce an authentic well tested new variety.

KBW I have seen GC being grown in Pattoki- the flower is so nicely heavely scented like a citrus. I couldn't believe my nose Looks exciting! Are you abroad or have brought these for pakiland?

I have also seen the GC bush in Changa Nursery. Golden Celebration does well in hot climate and this is a big plus when we talk of roses bred in cool European climate. And yes, I purchased these roses from UK but will be growing them in Islamabad. I hope Princess Alexandra, Benjamin Britten, LEH and others do well here, I am quite positive they will.

Nice collection. Among these i have grown Augusta Louise, Golden Celebration and Benjamin Britten all of which fared well in Lahore's weather. But Sir you got have obtained Augusta Louise, Golden Celebration and Benjamin Britten from Changa Nursery who also sells roses grown by cuttings apart from the grafted?

All of these shall do well in Islamabad.

I have yet to try Gertrude Jekyll which supposedly is even more fragrant than Golden Celebration.

GC, AL and BB all have nice scent. Now, I only grow scented roses and do not keep any roses without fragrance. Some of the outstanding mild scent roses might be tolerated but preference is for heavily scented roses only. I would also prefer an own root over a grafted rose, however, in both cases the plant should be minimum two years of age. Unfortunately in Pakistan, nurseries sell roses which are just a few months old.

BTW, nursery guy in UK talked very high of Evelyn May. Large size bloom, nice colour and strong scent. Same has been said about Royal Williams also but I have no personal experience of growing these two roses.

These were potted roses and grown up 3 years old plants. It was a big risk bringing them in my suite case specially considering the hot weather in Pakistan but I did. Actually it is much easier to bring bare roots but I got late as bare roots are available till end April only. Took the risk and it worked; they have all survived
