Yes this is the way we should prune our 4-5 year old bushes....

I was told that the rose bush be lightly(6 to 12 inches)trimmed in October and heavily( 8 to 10 inches from the ground) in February.Whats your take on this ?

Correct for North part of our country due to frost danger... in Karachi heavy pruning is in November...

IZHAR sahib. I have just read your advices quite late today on 6th December. Should I follow from now onwards. Should I prune the Roses now?

Is you area prone to frost?? if yes then prepare the soil now but prune after frost...
