Roses Deteriorate 2016
Last two years i enjoyed my rose plants alot.
But this year i was away from last two months and my roses deteriorated alot.
They were pruned in beginning of November.
One mistake that is coming to my mind is that "There was around 3 years old NPK and it had catched alot of moisture also. My gardener dried it and fed it heavily to the roses."
Below are pictures of plants, terrible blooms, moisture level and PH at three different locations of whole bed.
Need Your help guys to make them healthy again.

Yes... spray imidacloprid alternate days for 20 days.... watering should be very low... after pruning, watering must be minimal... keep them dry most of time...

According to u what could be the reason of this bad health over/expired fertilizer or any other reason.Izhar wrote:Yes... spray imidacloprid alternate days for 20 days.... watering should be very low... after pruning, watering must be minimal... keep them dry most of time...
Today i pruned them around 2 inches, removed all dead canes and added Arthur Bowers Rose food to them. And then watered generously.
Tomorrow I have plan to spray Imidacloprid and after a week Polytrin-C. And Then spray liquid fertilizer on foliage twice a week.
What u say?

Dont fertilise at this stage... this is pest damage coupled with high water retention around roots.... just use Imidacloprid on regular sprays and hold on the water... let them dry for 2-3 days between 2 consecutive waterings...

I am spraying Imidacloprid 10ml in 1.5 litre of water. ( Is this concentration good or excess)Izhar wrote:Dont fertilise at this stage... this is pest damage coupled with high water retention around roots.... just use Imidacloprid on regular sprays and hold on the water... let them dry for 2-3 days between 2 consecutive waterings...
I have holded of water completely. Can I add dried leaves to bed and mulch it and then leave for 1 week before next watering.
Will Polytrin-C be helpful as i was unable to get Oberon.
Detailed reply requested. Thanx.
