Wonderful. Bajazzo is a classic, only drawback is no fragrance. For some reason I just can't see a rose as perfect unless it competes in how it looks as well as how it smells. Can't beat the huge size of bajazzo.

Sir i agree with you. Here we have only limited varities having both these
qualities(fragrance and look).

I think i would get more in future with guidence of umar, you and other seniors in this forum.
Really novice in rose plantation started last year getting inspiration from umar.
Look forward for further knowlege sharing

If you go to Pattoki you will find an extensive variety. However, I think it might be late now so maybe next Jan will be a good time to go rose hunting.

Sir i think our(Lahore) nursery men would hardly know these names(dont included pattoki as i didi not visited yet)?
and most of the david austin rose are not suitable for our climate?
there are few varites whic survive in zone 11-12(approx zone for lahore).
i am not quite clear about this ?
want to know your opinion about this.
regards

Our zone of Lahore is 10b. I've planted some David Austin's, they were cuttings so it will be another year or two to see their potential. I do not see why David Austin's won't do well here since roses are vy hardy and also drought tolerant once established. Of courses the roses won't bloom as well and for as long as they do in Murree but still we take what we can in Feb, March, April and then again in Fall.
