rose problem

rose problem
the tips of rose leaves are turning brown.... and in some new growth there a black coloured spots..... when i asked the nursery man he told tht it is a pest causing the black colour and gave me a pesticide..?? any ideas wht it could be??

It's most likely rose Black Spot, a common fungal disease in roses. Get an anti-fungal like Bayer's Alliete. First remove and discard far away all infected foliage then spray probably every week.

I am spraying with a fungicide every week and also have discarded the old leaves...but stil the edges of leaves are turning brown and this time no black spots anywhere on the leaf... please help...

Your pictures are quite blurred, it's hard to tell. The dark brown edges might be leaf burn from too much sun and or fertilizer. I think I saw some white too which might be spider mite if it's not the anti-fungal you just sprayed.

i have not added fertilizer since a month because i trnsplanted them into another pot.... it could be leaf burn because they were placed on the roof which gets 10 hrs of sunlight... i have brought them in my lawn which gets 5 hrs...the white thingee is the fungicide.... well thanks for reply...will post the condtion after some time....

Probably too much sun then. Google rose spider mite and powdery mildew and see pictures to compare with the conditions of your plants.
