Day-lilies flowering time start in the mid of April in Islamabad and I hope when his day-lilies will on bloom, price will be doubled. So if you want to have those, purchase now blindly. Blooms should be awesome, I guess otherwise all were sold last year.

Sir the problem with local vendors is that they are unaware of cultivars of several varieties... sometimes they dont even know the colours and people end up with colours or cultivars they might have and this is very heart breaking :D
i guess we just have to allow our intution to lead us to the right cultivar :)

Very bad news
Today I visited the same nursery again for daylilies and what have I seen??????????
Owner of the nursery has dug-up all the Bearded Iris and day-lilies for divisions and mixed all the plants and colors. Now no one can tell you, what color is this? Before division, every color was planted at different place but now every thing is mixed up.
After all.... can't resist and again buy two daylily plants, may be both will give me flowers of same color and may be these will have different colors, but I got good big size plants just for Rs:500. (500 for two plants)....yahooo

They are claiming that there five different colors in their collection. I have bought one of them blindly and it will take one to two years for blooming. Its flower will tell me the color of my plant.
The above flower was opned in the Islamabad nursery last week.
