Mr. Kaleem, another bulb plants expert on the forum suggests that bulbs should always be stored in peat moss locked in a zip lock bag in a fridge. I will do the same next time.

I am storing Glads/Narcissus and other bulbs like this for last 5 years , temperature maintained at 27 C humidity 50% always.
My bulbs automatically started to sprout if i donot push them in soil by November.
Anyways, let have a try on Kaleem Bhai's suggestion and do share the results.

If both bulbs were firm when planted then they should sprout. My personal experience with crocosmia is not good. It did not flower for me. Tritilia never tried.
