Clivia needs a lot of care and is very sensitive to watering and weather.....I would think twice before growing it again as i have failed once miserablyHamad wrote:adding clivia in our list

Thank you Tahir for adding some more Tuber in our list, I would strongly recommend to have a same list for Annuals and sub category as Summer and winter Annuals but only if someone would also like to step forward, because these kind of list would always beneficial for us and others for the future reference and for planning our gardens

Clivias can grow here but they require special treatments regarding sunlight/watering etc...That is why i stay away from plants that need special care, same goes for orchids, they need misting/Soil less medium etc.. About Clivia plant it in shade & forget it.Don,t even weed all the time & it will flower.But yes its very true it takes some time before flowering.My reds & oranges took four years to flower.I do not even touch the plants.Now they have started multiplying.
