Definitely a flower scape since last time it only sprouted leaves.

Anxious to see the flower. Must be a big flower keeping in view bulb size itself.

From the picture of it it should be a long scape with several small white flowers along the scape. Much like the picture in the Gardening Pakistan above. The scape seems smaller than I expected even less than the amaryllis. Let's see....

Way back in May 1950 on a trip to Kaghan vally about 10 KM after Naran crossing over Kunhar river there was this field of 4 feet tall stems laden with white flowers just like yours, identified by my teacher renowned botanist R R Stewart as scilla. I have never seen it again but I have never been there again in MAY.
Those were the days of mule tracks, Jeep able only up to Naran.

....I did notice mild fragrance. If I can manage in this weather and fast will try to get some micro shot swith an SLR before the flower fades out...
